Named one of the top new boutique hotels in the world by Conde Nast Traveler
A midcentury dream reimagined in the desert, Hotel Lautner exudes desert cool with designers Tracy Beckmann and Ryan Trowbridge’s chic update of an iconic landmark.
A hybrid between “upscale vacation rental property” and “boutique hotel”
Hotel Lautner invites guests to indulge their mid-century fantasies by renting their own private Lautner flat while enjoying luxurious amenities. It is one of the few, if any; Lautner designs open for public experience today.
Built by famed architect, John Lautner in 1947, Hotel Lautner is comprised of four distinctly designed interlocking units. The property appeals to the essence of the metropolitan sensibility, relocated to a spectacular desert setting. Embedded amid a who’s-who of quintessential mid-century furniture designers, Hotel Lautner guests will find all the necessary luxuries of post-modern living, such as Frette linens, L’Occitane bath products, induction cook tops, TV/DVD, free Wi-Fi and iPhone docks.
The compound boasts a saline spa and outdoor shower, the perfect counterbalance to the desert heat, an outdoor lounge with fire pit ideal for brisk evening stargazing and an onsite BBQ for grilling.
